Places i visited

Christ the redemeer or commnly called Jesus christo by Brazilians is situated in Rio de janero (river of January) .Rio is the second largest city in brazil and was the capital until 1960.

The statue is situated in the peek of Corcovado mountains (700m high from sea level). This area is a national park or a protected area. (We keralites must visit this city to learn how they protect a forest at the heart of a big city.) The statue is 38 meters tall and wieghs 650 tons .

The idea of staue came up in the 18th century but was dismissed

Later once in the first 19th century peroid once brazil became a replubic the idea got momentum and was largely supported by the caltholic church

Local engineer Heitor Da SilVa and French /polish scluptor Paul Landowski made the final designs . The work started in 1922 and finished in 1931. The outer layer of the statue is Soap stone .

There is special buses which will take you to the top of the mountain and then you have to climb a few steps to reach the base of the statue

Once you reach the top you can see the entire city of Rio .

You can feel the message of peace from jesus by looking into the statue

It is amazing how they constructed such a statue in the beginning of the 19th century

Brazil as a country is beautiful , blessed with beautiful people and Nature.

The beaches are clean and far more safer than our Indian beaches

When went for shopping as they found that we are tourists they were happy to give as discounts

I really felt ashamed of thinking how in india we treat tourists or i will call them guests

People who influenced me

Well when i thought of writing people who influenced me a lot of questions came into my mind , what sort of influences i should write , principals , carrier , life as a whole or the negative influences





well i will start with in general i will try to write as honestly as possible , i am doing this to analyze myself and to analyze my life

I think i should start with my father


i was born when he was 48 , he was working in the Indian army and after 3 months of my birth he retired and came to Kidangoor which is in Kottayam district


Since my mother was working as a teacher i spent more time with my father and my grnadmother ( i use to call her amma and my mother chellachi a unique word i found for her name (chellamma was her real name)
i learned three simple rules from
1) There is no short cut to success other than hard work
2) be honest and be open in life , do not keep formalities in relations (This has put me trouble many a times but has helped me to get strong friendships at the end)
3) Be humble , this too is questioned by many people at many incidents , he always use to tell me there is no one in this world who is born as a servent so treat them equally and fairly

I have written in my blog previously the only time jesus became violent was in the church , he kicked the priests out , well if you read some of the news coming from preists of our major religions you will definitely pray to Jesus to come back and kick these people out of the churches and even from the society

In orissa 250 churches were burned down , 4000 christian homes were destroyed and around 15000 thousand christians are still living in forests
And there was not convertion happening there
Well kandamal is not pala not rome not america to have so many christian churches

Well i found her really good in learning thigs quickly , but is that enough to face the challengs of being the vice president of america , no definitely not

It was good that she didnt give more interviews with main stream media or they might have cracked her and her ratings could have touched bottom down

She is smart to become mayor of a small town , but not enough experience or skills to handle American national politics

I remeber one gentle man in my village made his un educated wife a candidate in the panchatat (local village council ) , she was not even able ask for votes, so so will fold her hands and say namaste and he will say candidate is aking for votes , please vote for her , in the entire campaign she couldnt utter a single word , she lost ,

Moral of the story : know your limits , know your potential , elephent can open his mouth wide open , but if squirrel try that what will happen ( courtesy , one appuppan in kerala )

now any religious leader can do anything and can get away because he represents a particular religion

when millions of keralites suffered from fever these priests were making good money from their CHARITY HOSPITALS . MOST HOSPITALS JUST TAKE A PROFIT OF 50% ON DISPOSIBLE PRODUCTS , EVEN THE MISSION HOSPITALS ALL IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND CHRISTANITY.
they had no ill feeling when many nuns were killed in kerala
they had no ill feeling when deliberately abhaya case was manipulated
they hhave no ill feeling when their own news papaer deepika went into the hands of a unknown muslim business man( deepika was not a money making machine for the bishops)

these so called followers of jesus christ will be wipped out of churches if jesus was alive today
the jesus i know was the first socialist or communist who stood only for poor people and did everything to help poor
he strongly believed in social justice and never lied in his life
he was fearless and kind
he lost his temper only once and that was not aganist a thief or a prostitute , remember it was aganist priests
lets all pray these priests will come down from their luxuary and will become real messangers of christanity not money making machines of roman catholic church.
NO RELIGIOUS ORGANISATION N.S.S MES OR THE MISSIONARIES SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO DO THINGS ABOVE THE LAW.

WELL OPHRA ,TYRA AND JERRY SPRINGER WILL GIVE MANY INDIAN TALK SHOWS A TOUGH COMPETETION

MY VOTES ARE FOR JERRY SPRINGER, OH MAN HOW SOME ONE WITH BRAINS CAN WATCH SUCH A NONSENSE
